Slug Cat Mutate Unisex T-Shirt
She mutated. She does not care. She was unimpressed before the explosion and she's unimpressed after it.
This unisex tee features Slug Cat in her mutated form — gravity-optional, slime-trailing, and radiating the kind of cosmic indifference that most people spend decades in therapy trying to achieve. The Atomic Heart Engine scanned her emotions and found exactly one: mild annoyance at being scanned.
For anyone who has mastered the art of not caring in a way that's actually aspirational. Who responds to chaos with a single raised eyebrow. Whose emotional range runs from "unbothered" to "slightly less unbothered." Slug Cat is your spirit animal, and she doesn't care about that either.

Backstory
Slug Cat had been at Sunrise Sanctuary longer than almost anyone realized. Long before the repairs, the construction, and the steady arrival of new animals and people, she had already made the land her territory. She was what most would call a wild cat, though the label never meant much to her. It was simply another human way of categorizing things that didn’t concern her. Over the years she observed everything that happened across the sanctuary. Ten full years of watching the rhythms of the place unfold. Humans came and went, animals arrived frightened and slowly found peace, machines made noise, buildings were raised, and paths were carved through the land. To Slug Cat, most of it was an inconvenience — noise, movement, and endless activity that interrupted what she believed to be the far more important business of resting.
Despite her indifference, she quietly kept track of it all. From fence posts, tree branches, and shaded corners, she watched the sanctuary change shape. She noticed which people stayed and which disappeared, which animals settled in and which passed through. Eventually the chaos began to settle. Construction slowed, the noise faded, and Sunrise Sanctuary found a kind of stability. A wooden bridge was built across one of the small water channels, and nearby a carefully crafted man-made pond appeared, filled with bright koi fish that moved in slow, mesmerizing patterns beneath the surface of the water. Slug Cat examined the pond once with mild curiosity. The koi certainly looked appetizing enough, and technically they would make a fine meal. But the water was deep, the fish were quick, and the effort required to chase them simply did not seem worthwhile. Slug Cat had never believed in wasting energy on unnecessary tasks.
The bridge, however, was perfect. The wooden boards warmed comfortably in the sun during the day and cooled just enough in the evening breeze. It stood at the center of the sanctuary, overlooking the pond and the nearby paths, yet no one ever seemed to disturb her when she chose a spot along the railing. From there she could observe everything happening around her without being bothered by any of it. She watched Kagen walk the grounds, usually followed closely by the tiny Chihuahua named Fin who tried far too hard to help with tasks far beyond his size. She watched visitors wander through the sanctuary and the koi fish circle endlessly below in their slow watery dance.
But observation was only a secondary interest for Slug Cat. The bridge provided something far more important: the perfect place to sleep. Hours at a time she would curl into a warm patch of sunlight, tail wrapped neatly around herself, drifting in and out of long, uninterrupted naps. Occasionally she would open one eye just long enough to confirm that everything in the sanctuary was continuing as expected — Kagen working, Fin trotting loyally behind him, the koi still swimming their pointless circles. Satisfied that nothing required her attention, she would close her eye again and return to sleep. In her quiet way, Slug Cat remained the calm, indifferent witness to everything Sunrise Sanctuary had become, perfectly content at the center of it all, doing what she believed she did best: resting while the rest of the world busied itself around her.
