Returns & Exchange Policy

At Atomic Critter Clothing, every item is made-to-order just for you. Because our products are custom printed and fulfilled through Printful, our return and exchange rules work a little differently than traditional retail. Please read below so we can keep things smooth, fair, and only mildly chaotic.

Items Eligible for Return or Replacement

We happily replace items that arrive:

  • Damaged

  • Misprinted

  • Defective

  • Lost in transit

If your order arrived with a manufacturing issue, please contact us within 14 days of delivery and include:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the problem

Once verified, we will issue a free replacement or refund.

Items Not Eligible for Return

Because every item is printed specifically for each order, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Wrong size ordered

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Disliking the fit, feel, or color

  • "My dog didn’t approve the design"

  • Any other non-defect-related reason

We encourage reviewing each product’s description carefully and reviewing our size guide before ordering.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges on print-on-demand products. If you'd like a different size or color, you can place a new order once the original is refunded (if eligible).

Incorrect Address or Unclaimed Shipments

If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or because it was unclaimed:

  • The customer is responsible for the cost of reshipping.

  • We will contact you if this occurs.

Double-check your address so your merch doesn’t go on an unexpected vacation.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method through Squarespace. Depending on your bank, refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear.

How to Start a Return or Report an Issue

Email us at returns@atomiccritterclothing.com with:

  1. Your order number

  2. The issue you’re experiencing

  3. Photos (if applicable)

We’ll respond ASAP and get your issue resolved.

Return Address

Items are generally not required to be physically returned, but if Printful requests it, returns will go to the appropriate Printful fulfillment center.

Final Notes

We want you to love what you ordered. If you ever have questions about sizing, fit, materials, or anything else before purchasing, reach out — we’re here to help (and occasionally to bark at imaginary threats, just like our Atomic Critters).
